As the new school year picks up speed, so do the activities and programs here at our parish. This coming weekend we’ll be hosting the Love and Respect Video Marriage Conference again, our second time since it was so well received. We’re looking forward to the start of our religious education year soon – please keep our children and their catechists in your prayers that it might be a year of great grace and growth in their relationship with the Lord. I’m grateful for those who are serving as catechists and classroom aids this year – thank you for helping to form our children in the faith!
Finally, I hope you’re planning on joining us on Thursday, Sept. 27 at 7pm in Harrison Hall, for the start of the Catholicism series on DVD with Fr. Robert Barron. In this engaging program, Fr. Barron travels around the world using art, architecture. literature and music to help open up the riches of our Catholic faith. The film production is stunning – you don’t want to miss it!
