Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Thank you to our amazing Family Dinner Night kitchen crew who provided us with a wonderful dinner this past Friday night, and thank you to everyone who joined us. These nights continue to be a blessing as our parish family gathers together for a great meal and time to spend with one another. I am excited to share with you the news that our Family Dinner Night Kitchen crew (plus many extra team members) will be cooking this year’s Fall Festival Turkey Dinner on Sunday, October 7! Many of you have been asking for this and we think, with enough extra volunteers from the school and parish community, that we can have an incredible home-cooked turkey dinner. So please plan on joining us Sunday, Oct. 7, for our annual Fall Festival and Turkey Dinner. Please look for announcements about joining our kitchen and dining room crew as well – we will need your help!
Please keep Fr. John and I in your prayers this week as we join the priests of the Archdiocese and Archbishop Lori for our biennial priest convocation from Tuesday-Thursday. This time of planning, reflection and fraternity for priests is an important gathering and we ask for your prayers. Please note that there will be no daily Mass here at OLPH on Wednesday and Thursday mornings, Sept. 12-13. If a priest is needed during these days please contact the Parish Office and we will make arrangements. Have a very blessed week!
